As if the NBA playoffs aren’t exciting enough, DraftKings makes them even more exciting for Iowa sports bettors.
DraftKings Sportsbook is giving away free money to its customers throughout the first round of the NBA playoffs. If you are already putting money down on NBA games, this is the promotion for you.
DraftKings offers up bonus bets for the NBA playoffs
DraftKings announced that it is giving away $10 in free live bets every day during the first round of the NBA playoffs. The online-only promo began Aug. 17 and continues until Aug. 30.
To receive the daily offer, you have to bet at least $20 on the NBA playoffs for that given day and you will receive a free $10 wager. That free wager must be placed on the day it is given.
Each bet must have odds of -250 or longer to qualify. However, you can earn the free $10 wager each day as long as you make $20 worth of bets on the NBA that day.
There are a few stipulations on the $20 worth of wagers. You can’t use:
- bonus bets
- Cash-out bets
- Odds boosts
Parlays can be part of the wagers if all the legs are on NBA games.
While you can use the promotion every day, it can only be received once per day. Making $40 of wagers on the NBA will not earn $20 in bonus bets.
Place your wagers on DraftKings betting app
Iowa is one of six states eligible for the promotion. It joins Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
In order to take advantage of this promotion on your mobile device, you need an active DraftKings Sportsbook account.
Per Iowa’s in-person registration policy, new online sports betting customers must visit a retail sportsbook first. If you are a new DraftKings customer, visit one of DraftKings’ retail sportsbook locations at Wild Rose Clinton, Wild Rose Jefferson or Wild Rose Emmetsburg to register.
Once you have a DraftKings account, you need to opt in to the promotion. From there, you can use your personal bankroll to place $20 worth of wagers.
