FanDuel TV has partnered with ONE Championship to expand its slate of martial arts programming on its various streaming platforms. This is another way to introduce emerging sports to fans of sports betting in Iowa and across the nation.
Starting Jan. 20, viewers and martial arts fans will be able to see the latest stars of ONE Championship compete each week. It is the first time FanDuel TV has brought martial arts in front of its growing fan base.
The addition of ONE Championship events to FanDuel broadcast platforms will enhance its sportsbook appeal to Iowa sports bettors. CCO Mike Raffensperger of FanDuel said:
“We’re eager to continue expanding the variety of content we’re offering at FanDuel TV to introduce our audience to emerging sports. We’ve long respected the content the ONE Championship team is producing and are looking forward to bringing their action to our audience through FanDuel TV and FanDuel+.”
Based on October sports betting numbers in Iowa, FanDuel is the second most popular online sportsbook used in the state. Iowa residents put up $238 million in sports bets. DraftKings is the most popular Iowa sportsbook, with an online handle of $78.4 million, with FanDuel Iowa charting $50.1 million.
