Several Iowa casinos are offering special promotions for anyone feeling the Luck of the Irish this March. From drawings for cars, trips, cash and special games, March is the time to find your Pot of Gold.

Iowa casinos giving away cash, cars and a trip

Prairie Meadows Casino located in Altoona offers a chance for some cash at the end of the rainbow. The $30,000 Pot O’ Gold Cash Drawings will be each Wednesday in March. Each week, 10 winners are drawn.

Each person will choose a lucky charm to reveal a cash prize. Guests can earn a complimentary entry and then earn additional entries through slots, table games, and video poker play or pari-mutuel wagering. The promotion ends on Mar. 29, 2023.

Wild Rose Casino at Emmetsburg, Jefferson and Clinton are each holding a grand prize drawing. One lucky person at each location will win a 2023 Mini Cooper. Each Friday in March from 6 to 11 p.m. two winners each hour will play Plinko for a chance to win up to $500 in cash. The grand prize drawing is at 11 p.m. Friday, Mar. 31.

Riverside Casino and Golf Resort is offering a chance to win an Ireland Getaway. The March contest is each Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Twenty winners every hour will win $20 and an entry into the grand prize drawing. The grand prize drawing is Sunday, Mar. 26 at 7 p.m.

A Lucky Loot Giveaway for $10,000 is being held at Ameristar Council Bluffs. Starting Mar. 13, guests can receive at least one free entry. An additional entry is awarded for every 25 tier points earned. Drawings are Friday, Mar. 17. There will be eight winners each hour from 5 to 9 p.m. earning $250 free slot play. Only those present are eligible to win.

Lucky Free Play

Grand Falls Casino and Resort at Larchwood is playing Shamrock Around the Clock. Four winners each hour will have a chance to win up to $5,000 in free slot play. The promotion is Sunday, Mar. 5 and Sunday, Mar. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Visitors to Prairie Flower Casino in Carter Lake, Iowa can play Winner Takes All Drawings. They will be each Saturday in March from 6 to 10 p.m. Each hour, two lucky players will select one out of ten envelopes to win up to $500 in free play. At Catfish Bend Casino at Burlington, guests can win a share of over $20,000 in free play in the Sham Rock and Roll. The casino will hold drawings each Friday in March at 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. There will be five winners earning a chance at $100 to $1,200 in free play.

A rainbow of March multipliers

A Pot of Gold Point Multiplier will be held each Sunday in March at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. A swipe at the Rewards Center Kiosk will earn a pot of gold to reveal a mystery point multiplier of 2 to 7 times points. A bonus day will be Friday, Mar. 17 with a chance to win up to 17 times points.

A Feelin’ Lucky Giveaway drawing will be held each Saturday in March at the Casino Queen Marquette. Five winners will be drawn hourly from 5 to 8 p.m. to select a Lucky Mug to determine their prize of multipliers. Each Sunday in March from 9 a.m. to midnight, after earning 50 base points to qualify, players can use the CQ Reward Card at any kiosk to play for a chance to win up to $2,500 Royal free play or other prizes.
