UFC 261 betting odds for Masvidal vs. Usman II
DraftKings is listing Kamaru Usman as a -400 favorite over Jorge Masvidal on the moneyline. The odds on a Masvidal upset sit at +300. This line is about much more than Usman’s 2020 victory over Masvidal via unanimous decision, though.
Usman would be a heavy favorite even if he had never faced Masvidal before. Take essentially any relevant metric from these two fighters and Usman looks superior.
For example, Usman not only averages more strikes per minute than Masvidal, but he also tends to take fewer strikes per minute.
The data says to take Usman here even at the short odds. If you have never deposited funds at DraftKings before, though, you can enjoy a nice bonus on this fight regardless. Activating the sports betting bonus is quite easy.

If you make the right bet in Masvidal vs. Usman II, you win in two ways.
- You’ll get your standard payout from your wager. So, if you stake $5 at -400 odds, your payout would be $6.25.
- DraftKings will also give you $130 in bonus funds.
While the $6.25 is cash, the $130 is site credit. It’s paid out as one $30 bonus bet and four $25 bonus bets. You must use them within seven days. Also, any payouts from subsequent winning bets using the bonus bets will consist of profit only, excluding the site credit.
Although this promo is just for the featured event, Saturday’s MMA action includes other events worth consideration. The titles in two women’s divisions are up for grabs.
Action down the card for UFC 261
Four women will face off on Saturday night for two championships before Masvidal vs. Usman.
Zhang Weili will try to defend her strawweight title against Rose Namajunas while Valentina Shevchenko looks to do the same against Jessica Andrade in the flyweight division.
Andrade is new to the division but had a good showing in her first bout since moving up. Still, Shevchenko has had such a stranglehold on this title that dismissing Andrade’s challenge is well within her capability. DraftKings likes her to do just that at -455 on the moneyline.
The strawweight bout is a little more difficult to handicap because neither Namajunas nor Weili have a deep history in the class. Bettors weighing the moneyline here need to decide whether they think Namajunas can exploit her strength early or Weili can outlast the barrage. DraftKing has Weili -200 to keep her title.
Regardless of how many and which other fights IA bettors get in on, Masvidal vs. Usman II is the only one with this promo attached to it. The deal makes the paltry payout on a Usman victory more worthy of Iowans’ effort and time.
